This would be my first online journal. So, I am going to be completely honest: I am a tad bit shy about my writings. Although granted and blessed with nothing but spiritual gifts; I seem timid at the most opportune of times. This is my flaw.

Let me start over. . .

My name is Matthew Kenneth Monroe. I am a Spiritual Machine. I was saved at the young age of 8, and it is the best thing I have ever done in my life. Jesus is the only way and my purpose is to bring others to Him. ["I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders." Psalm 9:1.]

I am twenty, going on twenty-one at the end of this month, the 31st. My goal: to write every day this month, just to see if I can keep up. I am probably the most honest guy you will meet. I am in LOVE with the Lord. I try to put people before me, because that is where my JOY is as person. Jesus- Other- Yourself last. I am humble. I make mistakes. I listen. I learn. I grow. I am very easy going and flexible. I am late to everything. I am sensative. I play basketball, football, soccer, and the guitar. I love to sing, dance, and write. I am a spritual machine, working solely for the Lord and for His will. But enough about me... I have two amazing parents, Steve and Lissa, both are 53, but act as if they are still in their teenage years. They are the directors of the Monroe Mafia. They have raised us well. The supporting cast are my three totally talented and special brothers. Michael, 24, is my best friend. Period. He is currently in L.A., where he is going to thrive and prosper, because he is driven and focused on what he has to do, Play Music. Mark, 17 going on 18, is on a level of intelligence far beyond that of my own. He can paint, act, dance, and play the hell out of the European Sport that is taking the U.S. by storm, Soccer. Miles, 16 about to be 17, is a gentle giant. He is probably the funniest guy I know and the best competition I have in the rhelm of the Basketball World. I love my family. I am very fortunate to be apart of such a wonderful thing. The Lord is the only thing that keeps me focuses and true.
